Limonium sinuatum
Family: Plumbaginaceae

Easy but slow

Exposure: Full sun

Start Statice seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Keep soil moist at 18-21°C (65-70°F). Seeds should sprout in 21-30 days. Provide ample light as soon as seedlings emerge. Transplant once nighttime temperatures are consistently above 10°C (50°F).

Sow seeds 5mm (1/4″) deep, and keep soil just moist, not wet. Thin to 40-45cm (16-18") apart.

Prior to transplanting, work the soil to a depth of 20cm (8") to improve drainage. If transplanting to a container, add a quantity of grit or perlite to achieve the same end. Remove any Statice plants after they have been killed by frost in order to avoid disease.
