On May 6th, 2023, our in-person seedling sale event returns. Join us at our retail store, 4930A Elliott St, Delta, BC, for a fun-filled family friendly event from 9:30am-5:30pm.

Shop a wide assortment of organic seedlings, soils, fertilizers, and gardening supplies. Hear from special guests and speak with expert gardeners from West Coast Seeds about how to grow your seedlings and maximize your harvest.

Can't make the event? No Sweat! Skip the lines by pre-ordering seedlings online ahead of time and picking them up at the West Coast Seeds trial gardens, just a short drive away.

Pre-Order then Pickup

Pre-order seedlings on this website and pick them up on May 6th at our barn and trial gardens, located at 5300 34B Ave., in Delta, BC.

Pickup times are available from 9:30-5:30 on Saturday, May 6th. Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation with an order number and your selected pickup time. Buy 18 or more seedlings and receive 10% off your order total.

Pre-ordered seedlings are only available for pickup at 5300 34B Ave.

This year, we’re grateful to be joined by Team Canada Women’s rowing gold-medal champion, Andrea Proske. Come to the retail store event between 12:00-3:00pm on May 6th to meet Andrea and hear how West Coast Seeds-planted produce helped fuel her 4000 kcal/day journey to the Tokyo Olympics.

Organic gardeners share one challenge that has many faces – how to protect seedlings along to the point when they are strong enough to defend themselves. Because seedlings are so tender and tasty, and low to the ground, they are easy pickings for a host of animals, from the very tiny to the enormous. Everything from wireworms and millipedes up to raccoons and deer are perfectly happy to chomp on veggies, sometimes eradicating a whole bed of newly emerged plants.
